藤原範継 (Fujiwara changes it) is a noble of the Kamakura era.

Life

I am conferred the sixth place (1216) on 5th for New Year holidays for Kenpo four years [²].

Father, 範茂 which participated in a revolt of Shokyu in (1221) for Shokyu three years was executed, but 範継 was spared the life of by intention in Yasushi Hojo. Afterwards through a chamberlain on Antei era first year December 14 (January 22, 1228) as a court dancer 参仕 [³]. I was conferred under the original fifth place (1231) on 7th for New Year holidays for Kanki three years [⁴] and was appointed the left horse-headed demon at this time. 範継 was not promoted to a court noble, but the descendant becomes the direct line of descendant of the Takakuras (person of thicket), and the Donoues produces a lot you.

In addition, I assume a ranking of 範継 an original fifth place bottom in "a directory of the successive emperors' staff" and assume it 従四位下 in "the upper and the lower classes ramifications".
