Most of upper reaches [¹], the Senba bank of a river is the bank of a river ground where it was possible last in riverbank fish market ground of the Shingashi River. The Senba riverbank fish market was established in the low land under the cliff of Atago Shrine using the waterway of "the waterfall of Senba" which flowed out from under Atago Shrine in Fujimi, Kawagoe-shi-cho. I excavated Senba plateau to Kawagoe Highway of Kawagoe Shiroshita and made a sunken road and transported supplies using the way. After Shingashi River water transportation was abolished, a part was filled up, and the Senba bank of a river trace was made residential land, but the most were left as damp ground in the grove of miscellaneous trees. I saved it as a park of historic interest, and the anchorage trace would be maintained and was opened (2004) as "Senba bank of a river park of historic interest" in May in 2004. Promenade and Wood deck making an excursion in a waterfall of riverbank fish market ground trace and Senba, a natural observation damp place are maintained in the garden. There is the walk road to Atago Shrine, too.
