Makita Numazu
The company where Makita Corporation Numazu (Makita ぬまづ) produces the general-purpose engine, agricultural machine which ever existed in Numazu-shi, Shizuoka, disaster prevention apparatuses. It was a subsidiary of electric tool maker Makita, but was merged on April 1, 2013. It was a subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries (existing SUBARU) once.

History
- I start the production of the supplementary plane for the plane as - Nakajima airplane Mishima Seisakujo Co., Ltd. in 1943.
- I independently separate it from - Fuji Sangyo Co., Ltd. in 1950 and establish Fuji machine industry Co., Ltd.
- It is listed in 1961 by two copies of - Tokyo Stock Exchange.
- I change a company name of it to - Fuji Robin Industries Co., Ltd. in 1966.
- I move - head office to Numazu-shi, Shizuoka in 1991.
- 2007
- - Makita starts take-over bid (TOB) of Fuji Robin Industries on March 20 (Fuji Heavy Industries supports buying totally, too.)
- It becomes the subsidiary of Makita by - TOB establishment on May 15.
- It is delisting for making it the subsidiary by - Makita on July 26.
- I change a company name of it to - Makita Corporation Numazu on August 1. Trust production with Fuji Heavy Industries, the product supply relations continue. "Robin" who was the brand name of our product changed it to "a rabbit" for the brand name that Fuji Heavy Industries used by product machine business. I use it with an agricultural machine, a disaster prevention apparatus now. In addition, "the rabbit" comes from "the rabbit motor scooter" which Fuji Heavy Industries produced.
