Gulf of Naito ten
The Gulf of Naito ten (wooden bowl of few father, 1832 (Tenpo era three years) from March to 1908 (1908) March 22) is the clansman of the Morioka feudal clan, a school teacher, a scholar, an author of Akita. It is father of Konan Naito. As for the childhood name, Kitaro, 諱 of the beginning called 貞善, a character 子祥. I changed 調一, a character to Chisato later in 諱. Ten gulfs are 号. I was granted 調一 from 桜庭綱清 of the lord, and was taken from monarchy of Junshi. I am considered to be a description of 待時盧主人記 and subordination Roh master and write down the side in "the taking the field diary" just after the Akita War with "subordination Roh ハ 三餘堂 ノ another name Nari". It is thought that all these are 号 which they used just after Akita War [1].
I am born as a son of the Naito nobility of character (Senzo) that is the scholar in the Morioka feudal clan hair horse (Tenpo era three years) in March in 1832. When I am young, I learn Confucianism about father. I learn Nine Chinese Classics and left biography, Historical Memoirs until 13 years old. I learn it by the cause of 泉沢修斎 and make Yoko of the eldest daughter of 泉沢修斎 a wife afterwards. I am remonstrated in 泉沢修斎 and come back to Kazuno once though I learn it in the Edo era.
In Kazuno, study of Confucianism, satin studies, "Kazuno study" to pull the genealogy of the Eclectic School of Confucianism to adopt various opinions without deviating to each precedence group including the doctrines of Wang Yang-ming, and to blend were succeeded to, and the Naitos was the center. The nobility of character of father was the person who led it to the direction of the practical science. Furthermore, ten gulfs came under a strong influence of Michitaka Naka of the royalist and adored Shouin Yoshida under the influence. In the case of a northeastern trip of Shouin Yoshida, ten gulfs really meet you. In addition, I took the name of tiger Jiro who was a childhood name of Konan Naito of the son from Torajiro of the popular name of Shouin Yoshida.
I take the field by the Akita War with Kumagaya assistant gate-guard office of the close friend and write down two "taking the field diaries" [2]. The Kumagaya assistant gate-guard office dies by a fight in Itasawa-mura and regrets death of Kumagaya with "a taking the field diary".
After a revolution, wife and eldest son Buzo died in succession. It was in state that it was severe economically although I poured all energy into nurture of Hunan while opening the private supplementary school in a hair horse, and dealing with the education of children. By the request of the Osarizawa mine director, I proceeded to the Osarizawa mine as a secretary with Hunan and it was stable and put Hunan in the Akita normal school economically and built a house in former Kashiwazaki building afterwards.
The later years were the education of the private school student and the collection of native district documents. And I started editing of "the Kazuno will" after I became 70 years old. "The Kazuno will" finished the sentence that father compiled at the age of ten gulf 75 years old in the form that Hunan of the son gave proofreading to and was published (1907) in March in 1907.
Ten gulfs died because of the senility (1908) on March 22 in 1908.
