George Underwood
George Underwood (George Bernard Underwood, from November 4, 1884 to August 28, 1943) is a former track-and-field athlete of the United States of America. He won a gold medal by 4 miles [1] of team sport of the St. Louis Olympics held in 1904 [2].

Career
As for 4 miles of team sport, Francis field was carried out as a meeting place on September 3, 1904. Five two teams ten players in total participated in a competition (composed of a player of the Chicago AA position) five representative from United States of America teams (composed of a player of the New York AC position) and mixed team [3].
Underwood finished a competition by results of the fifth place in ten and the representative from United States of America team acquired 27 points in total and defeated the mixed team which was 28 points in total in close competition and acquired a gold medal with Arthur Newton (the first place in ten) of the teammate, pole pill Grimm (the sixth place), Howard Valentine (the seventh place), David Mansson (the eighth place) [4].
Underwood plays these Olympics in a 400 meters race and an 800 meters race. I placed the fourth place in order ignorance, an 800 meters race by a 400 meters race.
He became a well-known sports commentator later and became the editors such as Boston Globe papers. In addition, I acted as the advertising person in charge of the madison square garden.
