イワオヌプリ is an active volcano of 1,116m above sea level to extend over Kutchan-cho, Abuta-gun, Hokkaido and Rankoshi-cho, Isoya-gun. It is located in the Niseko mountain range Higashiyama system and belongs in Niseko-Shakotan-Otaru Kaigan Seminational Park.

Summary
Yamana means "a heap of sulfur" by Ainu. It is the youngest volcano, and the face of the mountain is covered in Niseko mountain range by a crystal and lapilli of sulfur.
