Summary
36 were planned by the 改 circle 5 plan 28 ships by six ships and a circle immediate plan by a circle 4 plan more. It was not greatly different from a former seventh model in the warship type, but the main battery was changed to the 12cmM type gun 3 gate. 砲戦能力 is bigger than the minesweeper of other countries, and therefore coast patrol use includes the opinion which aimed at the substitute of the destroyer [1]. In addition, I am used a lot for the fleet guards after the completion because I am equipped with the depth bomb, and there was versatility.
The 19th of the first boat was completed in May, 1941, and six ships of the circle 4 plan, 11 17 ships of the circle immediate plan in total were completed by the next 1,944 years. All the boats of the 改 circle 5 plan became the building cancellation. 艇 killed in battle among 17 completion amounted to 15.
Change
It was done in the wartime hurriedly built, facilitating it and was changed from a double curve model from the 25th which became the circle immediate plan warship in the straight line-shaped bow. In the machine gun seat, as for the case of the setting, it was planned later by round shape facilitating it with square shape such as doing it. However, is the whole; such as the coastal defense ship was thorough; was not facilitated.
It is increase detailed がなされた of the equipment and the machine gun of the radar during the Great War like other Japanese Navy war vessels. I established it, and the radar was equipped with a pedestal one 22 in the bridge deck rear. Probably it is estimated that I was equipped by a completion warship (1943) in the latter half of 1943 [1]. The machine gun founded a machine gun seat before a bridge deck, and I removed a third gun again, and 増備 did one 25mm multi-launching in each. 他単装機銃 approximately three were added, too.
I often engaged in the fleet guards after the completion, but the shortness of the flying range becomes the problem and remodels a part of the ballast tank, and it is said to a heavy oil tank that I did it [1].
