Summary
Hidemune Date joined the club as Uwajima feudal lord (1615) in the early stage of Genna first year in the Edo era. At this chance I prayed this ground equal to the unlucky direction of Uwajima-jo Castle for peace and security of tranquility and 領民 of the Uwajima feudal clan and invited 栄瑜上人 to a founder chief bonze of a temple, and a temple was erected. It became the prayer place of the Uwajima feudal clan Dates afterward and was granted 100 stones from a feudal clan.
Two articles of shrine Imperial princes of Daikaku-ji Temple dropped in here, and they named a seaside mountain happy longevity temple (1638) for Kanei era 15 years when circulation tin did Shikoku.

- 寶篋塔 of 椎本芳室: Uwajima-shi oldest literature monument. It is the Toshizo monument which praised an achievement and longevity of master, 椎本芳室 (しのもとほうしつ) of the by Osaka forest group general term for haiku and linked verse who is in the first half of the Edo era. The Taniwaki favor bamboo which was a pupil of 芳室 erected it in merchants of Uwajima in (1746) for Enkyo era three years. I appoint it (1999) on January 18 in 1999.
