History
The forerunner of the Anhui museum is Wuhu Hall of Science, 皖南文物館 built in Hefei Hall of Science, 皖北文管会 and Wuhu built in Hefei at the beginning of People's Republic of China founding of a country. On April 23, 1953, these organizations are unified; Anhui museum associate; a detailed place started. In August, 1954, the construction of the exhibition building building of 11,580 square meters in area was started, and construction was completed in February, 1956, and Anhui museum started formally on November 14, the same year.
