Real condition weather report ceremony above the ground

The real condition weather report ceremony (ちじょうじっきょうきしょうつうほうしき, surface synoptic observations: SYNOP) above the ground is a numerical value cord used for the report of the weather observation result from a manned observatory and the uninhabited observatory (I call it FM-12 in WMO). I am usually sent using a communications network (cable broadcasting communication, wireless communication) every time equal to the multiple of 3. The report is constructed in a group of the numerical value (if there are not data a slash) that described general weather information such as temperature and atmospheric pressure and the visibility of the observatory. In late years cases reported as binary data increase, and it is thought that the report in this form will decrease in future.

Telegraphic message form

It is the general structure of the SYNOP telegraphic message as follows. In the point showing with numerical value, the point of fixed (group indicator) x is replaced with numerical value including weather data and the positional information (if applicable speed and a direction) of the observatory.

 xxxxx xxxxx 99xxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx 00xxx 1xxxx 2xxxx 3xxxx 4xxxx 5xxxx 6xxxx 7xxxx 8xxxx 9xxxx 222xx 0xxxx 1xxxx 2xxxx 3xxxx 4xxxx 5xxxx 6xxxx 70xxx 8xxxx 333 0xxxx 1xxxx 2xxxx 3xxxx 4xxxx 5xxxx xxxxx 6xxxx 7xxxx 8xxxx 9xxxx

Detailed of cord data

The cord data to show as above are defined in WMO publication. But, in the WMO publication, I may include the group information of the domestic definition and I edit it as needed in a dispatch country and delete the country group or, in the case of a complete discharge, will exhibit the group of the country use.

Use to a weather chart

It uses this cord to use for a weather chart above the ground. METAR exists for aviation, but uses are completely different and may not use it for a weather chart directly. It is different from sea surface rebirth atmospheric pressure to use to ground weather chart basically to use (QNH method) to show the amount of altitude on the runway with the value of the atmospheric pressure altimeter in an atmospheric pressure readjustment level (アルティメーターセッティング) when there is not a limit in particular in the airline. Of the airport difference in around 1-2 hPa produces the differences between sea surface atmospheric pressure and QNH unless is of high altitudes (below 100m in an approximate aim), but may enlarge it at the time of the bad weather. When I use it, it is necessary to distinguish it in condition (in A アルティメーターセッティング) such as A1013 for convenience.
