Summary

I was composed as a collection of music for piano duets in 1871. In 1872, the following day, Bizet arranged it for an orchestral music with a choice of five pieces from all 12 pieces and assumed it "a small suite". "The small suite" was given the first public performance of at an odeum seat of Paris on 2nd in March, 1873 by conduct of Edouard コロンヌ.

The music order is replaced on the occasion of arrangement, too and becomes the sixth original music, third music, second music, the eleventh music, the twelfth music sequentially.
