Holoenzyme
I call the thing which functions as an enzyme only after non-proteinous molecules are connected to protein molecules becoming the enzyme body with the holoenzyme (Jolo こうそ British: holoenzyme). I call the part of the non-proteinous molecules of this case cofactor. The enzyme requiring coenzyme is holoenzyme, and a coenzyme moiety becomes the cofactor.
In many cases, I lose activity when I lose a non-proteinous part. I call the thing of the state only for this protein moiety apoenzyme.
In addition, about the enzyme which shows activity only after plural protein molecules form a complex, I may call it holoenzyme. In this case the thing which is in condition to lose some subunits, and to have lost activity is called apoenzyme.
