Forest みつ (もりみつ, from March 20, 1922 to July 15, 1967) is a Japanese poet. HokkaidoSapporo-shiA native place.

Origin

Father and the lifelong separation that failed for business when I was young. I graduate from a Sapporo City girls' high school (existing Sapporo, Hokkaido east Senior High School) and, through a teacher, work in Hokkaido Agricultural Association, the food public corporation. In 1941, I place maiden work "snowy entreaty" in "the northern literary arts" on recommendation of Genzo Sarashina. I publish a coterie "tree drop" until defeat of the Pacific War in Hokkaido and announce the work afterwards. In 1943, I publish book of verse "Hanasaki Kinu" and collect high evaluations. He gets married these days and gives Abe family name, but the husband is killed in action. I participate in a poetry magazine "supremacy law" "wild nature" "nucleus" after the war. I marry again in 1952 and become the forest family name and I move and continue a poem to Niikappu-cho of post, the Hidaka jurisdiction of the husband. In 1960, I subscribe for the lyrics of "the Hokkaido hymn". The top was elected, and Akira Ifukube composed it. There is the monument inscribed with a poem of this "Hokkaido hymn" in front of Niikappu-cho native district museum. In addition, I acted as Hokkaido sisterhood communication meeting permanent post director, Hidaka sisterhood communication meeting chairperson during this period. In 1968 after the death, book of verse "smile yearning" was published.
