Summary

Ichiburi Station interval was transferred from Kurikara Station of Hokuriku Main Line to our station with what was transferred to an Aino style and a mountain railroad in addition by the management separation of the parallel old line by the opening of business between Hokuriku Shinkansen Nagano Station - Kanazawa Station of March 14, 2015 [1].

A crossover of the non-electrification to tie up ground iron Main Line to an Aino style and a mountain rail line is installed in the station yard.

It is Honshincho, and Uozu Station west rotary and the open space are located in Michishita as well as Shakado.

West Japan Railway Era

A green window was installed at a direct management station of the West Japan Railway Toyama area train service department management. Most of the limited express train, the express trains stopped. In addition, limited express "Thunderbird" to the Osaka area ran in only 1 coming and going (up 10, descent 35). It is the node of the Tokyo area and Unazuki Onsen, the Kurobe gorge area.

  • The underpass which links the station west to - station square (1995) on January 20 in 1995 is completed [2].
  • The departure and arrival of - freight train disappears (1996) on March 16 in 1996 and becomes the car representation station [the source required].
  • A stop (1997) first 1997 on March 22 "はくたか" to - Echigoyuzawa. It is in the only station which can go in the two hours level by land to Tokyo from three prefectures of Hokuriku.

Station structure

Parking lot

When do trip to long distances more than one-way 100km (as for the use of railroad, possible by one way) from Aino style and mountain railroad Uozu Station or Toyamachiho Railroad Shin-Uozu Station; with the service that is available for 100 yen at Uozu Station south parking lot approximately 5 minutes on foot from our station managed by Uozu-shi for 24 hours (usually 24 hours 310 yen) [17]. But there are number restrictions, and the advance reservations are not possible, too.

Station lunch

The preparation by the local station lunch supplier does not exist, but can purchase a station lunch of Toyama Station at an above-mentioned fish source store.

Uozu off rail station

The Uozu off rail station (abbreviated to Uozu ORS) is located at [18], 1, Kitaonie, Uozu-shi (the place where is different from the passenger station) by the popular name of the station of the JR freight. I have the container home (yard) of one 1 line. But the cargo work line is not used because there is not the departure and arrival of the freight train [the source required]. As a substitute of the freight train, a truck service commutes 1.5 a day between Toyama freight station (two from our station) and, as of March, 2014, is set [19].

At our station, I handle only containerized cargo limited to 12ft container [the source required].

JR freight Uozu Station became the car representation station than 1996 without the departure and arrival of the freight train and, in the case of the name rearranging of the freight station of the next 2,006 years, came to use a name of the ORS [the source required]. When a freight train arrived and departed, the dedicated line which reached the Nippon Carbide Industries Uozu factory branched it off from the Toyamachiho Railroad Uozu Station side until 1994 [10], and chemicals such as the caustic soda were sent out.

History

    • - Toyama electric railroad extends from Dentetsu-Uozu Station on August 21, and the line station starts a business [20].
    • - Toyama electric railroad extends to west Mikkaichi Station (current Dentetsu-Kurobe Station) on October 1 and becomes the way station in the line [20].
  • The station of the Toyama electric railroad becomes the station of the Toyamachiho Railroad Main Line by - company merger (1943) on January 1 in 1943 [21].
  • Uozu Station of Toyamachiho Railroad is separated from JR Station by the completion (January 20) of the underpass linking - east and west district (1995) on April 1 in 1995 and is renamed to Shin-Uozu Station. A rotary is completed in the west [2].

Station structure

It is a station having island expression home one 2 line above the ground. The ticket examiner for exclusive use of the chip card is installed. As of March 17, 2012, a station employee is placed from 7:00 to 20:00 [the source required]. The East-West districts of the station are linked by an underpass, and the Shin-Uozu Station entrance is on the way to the underpass. The station square of Shin-Uozu Station is the west exit.

The railroad siding ([4] that used ruins of freight branch line (beach line) used from the Uozu Station opening of business to the spring of 1914) of Nippon Carbide Industries (beginning to use at first domestic manure company) used from April, 1929 to 1994 stepped over our line from mountain-side Japanese National Railways, and lengthened to a factory on the sea side [10]; (remove the track). Therefore the point change that ground iron cooperated with Japanese National Railways was carried out. A track of Nippon Carbide Industries exists now between Uozu Station and Shin-Uozu Station [the source required].

Around station

In the Uozu station square (Shakado district) until the 30, Showa generation, a rice field spread out in the neighborhood other than the station front and was only the village with approximately 30 farmers with a side job [22]. The street in front of current Uozu Station was readjusted the division of over March for 1962 through 1970 [23]. During this time, the station square comes to be lined with buildings such as a city hall or the farm co-op Hall. On the other hand, about the station west, it was readjusted the division of land from 1981 and was completed on November 21, 1995 [24].
