• I am authorized by 2 of Yamaguchi notification 644th on October 1, 1958.
• I am changed to the current route number in 1972 by prefectural road number reorganization of Yamaguchi.
• The place name notation of the starting point is changed with 6 municipalities (Susa-cho, Tamagawacho, Asahimura, Kawakami-mura, Fukuei-mura get along with each other a village) belonging to Hagi-shi and Abu-gun on March 6, 2005 merging equally, and Hagi-shi having started some other time (Sasanami, Asahimura, Abu-gun → Sasanami, Hagi-shi).
• The place name notation of the terminal is changed with two towns (Mitochou, Shuuhochou) belonging to Mine-shi and Mine-gun on March 21, 2008 merging equally, and new Mine-shi having started (Mitouchooda, Mine-gun → Mitouchooda, Mine-shi).
