The thing which the dead man left

As for "the thing which the dead man left," (as for the thing which the man who died left) is words of Shuntaro Tanikawa, a song for no accompaniment choruses by the composition of Tooru Takemitsu. In Vietnam War のさなかの 1965, I am made for "a civic meeting in hope of peace of Vietnam" and am one of the songs of Japanese pacifism shown by Masanori Tomotake. [1].

Summary

Takemitsu asked for composition in Tanikawa completed music in a day. "Strain itself like a message song, and do not sing, and the episode that attach a letter to want to sing with the feeling" such as "Aizome wig", and handed remains to Takemitsu in it [1]; [2].

Like Chieko Baisho, Tomoe Sawa, Yumiko Samejima, Michiko Hayashi, Dominque Visse, Ishikawa Japanese parsley, Tomoya Takaishi, Takao Okamura such as chambers, a gecko (Yoshiko Moriyama and Akiko Yano), it is sung from popular music to a classic singer widely. Hikaru Hayashi arranges it in mixed voices madrigal with a piano later. Takemitsu of the person of composition arranged it in a madrigal of no accompaniment afterwards in 1984, too. These chorus arrangement becomes important as a repertory of the choruses, too [2].

It is the articulate song of six sections. With each gnarl, "the things which I left" of dead people and history are enumerated by two, but are the song of contents that I have no thing which I left other than two or thing remaining. I am recorded in "Japanese poet 17 Shuntaro Tanikawa book of verse" (1968) of the river appearance Publishing.

I was used in Toho Eiga Co., Ltd. "bullet hole" of Manager Shiro Moriya of 1969 [3].
