The Takase River
The first-grade river which the Takase River (たかせがわ) flows through Southeast Aomori, and flows into the Pacific. It is the main stream of the Takase River water system.

The use of the name of "the Takase River" is often limited only to a range approximately 7km from the Lake Kogawara to the river mouth, and, in the upper reaches, "seven rivers" (しちのへがわ) are called in "the Wada River" (わだがわ) from Lake Kogawara.

Geography
I rise from the south foot of the Mt. Yahata of the Ou mountain range located in the western part of Shichinohe-machi, Kamikita-gun, Aomori (1,020m above sea level). Put Tsubokawa together near aza-Sengari, Shichinohe-machi Michinoshimo in Sakuta River in a city area of Shichinohe-machi and quench the northern part of three Kihara and flow into the western part of Kogawara Hunan. It flows into the Pacific again from the border of outflow, Rokkasyo-mura, Kamikita-gun and Misawa-shi from the northeastern part of the lake.
63.2km2 of the Lake Kogawara is included in basin area of the Takase River water system 866.9km2. A down stream part is swale, and the Lake Kogawara becomes the brackish water lake.
