St. Laurence church
St. Laurence church (聖老楞佐教堂, Igreja de São Lourenço), the another name-like order temple are cathedrals of the Catholic Church in Macao.

It is erected over 1558 through 1600 by Society of Jesus. Because Laurence dedicated to by the Laurence church was one of the martyrs whom there was for the persecution of caesar ウァレリアヌス with the Sixtus second for 258 years and was worshiped as a patron saint of the wind later, it was built as the place that waited for the person who worked in the sea of Macao coming back to the favorable wind, and prayed. It was wooden, but I was rebuilt in 1884 by Jose Thomas デ デキノ and was enrolled in a world heritage as a part of The Historic Centre of Macao in those days in 2005. [1]
