The sonic (ChthoniC, 閃靈樂團) is a Taiwanese black metal band. "Chthonic" of the English name means underground God "クトニオス" of the Greek myth.

Career
I form it with the friend of a high school and the university in Taipei around Freddy Lim which was a university student at the time of 1995.
After there was a member change of several degrees, I release "深耕" of the 1st single in 1998. In the same year, I release "祖靈之流" (Where the Ancestors' Souls Gathered) of the 1st album.
A visit to Japan first in "靈魄之界" (9th Empyrean) of the 2nd album in 2000 after release in wisteria lock festival of the same year. I release "永劫輪迴" (Relentless Recurrence) of the 3rd album in 2002.
I wrote a new "Satan's Horn" of the Chinese edition theme of movie "Freddie VS Jason" in 2003 and won top flight band Prize in 金曲奨 of the music Prize to be said to be "a Taiwanese Grammy award" in the same year.
I release "賽德克巴莱" (Seediq Bale) which featured the theme of fog company case in 2005.
I visited Japan in Independence D in 2007 and I participated in Ozy fest in the same year and performed a tour of the United States.
I make Rob カッジアーノ of the Ann slacks (existing ヴォルビート) a producer in 2009 and release "ten" (Mirror of Retribution) who featured the theme of a 2.28 case.
I participate in ラウドパーク in October, 2010.
I release "the Takasago military" (Takasago Army) which featured the theme of Takasago volunteer in July, 2011. I visited Japan at the same month, the same year and gave a performance.
It is participation for the wisteria lock festival that I perform a tour in Ozy fest in lamb of god and Japan and Taiwan with the friendship in February, 2012 and am the second time in July of the year.
In March, 2013, I perform "Takasago military" perfection reproduction tour and, in May of the year, release album "武德 (Bu-Tik)" which recorded "破夜斬" (Supreme Pain for the Tyrant) which assumed Nazis Germany and middle Germany collaboration by the Chinese Nationalist Party a motif.

Musicality and thought
I am often classified in black metal [by whom?] , fact is included in a lot of elements of fork metal and buffet metal, the Melo Dick death metal. In addition, I use erhu or the Taiwanese race musical instrument and form a unique view of the world to be said to be "oriental metal". At the early days and the middle, I did co-ops paint.
I make the Taiwanese history and legend a motif, and fog company case and 2.28 case, the Takasago volunteer take up the lyrics, too. It is a Taiwanese independent group and criticizes the People's Republic of China about Tibet problem and the issue of Uygur severely. During a certain live, I performed a performance to burn a flag of Kuomintang.
