The VFX production company where the Sine site (Cinesite) establishes the head office in U.K. London. I was affiliated with photographic supplies maker Kodak of the United States of America once, but am an independent company now. In addition, a production base is in Canada Montreal as well as the head office.

History

It is the digital picture center which established in United States Hollywood as facilities for Kodak to operate self-developed computing system Cineon in 1992 that became the base of the current Sine site (the following, Hollywood office); [2]. With the London office which was as main duties by Firmus kiang and recording, image processing at first in the Hollywood office [3], and made full use of proud composite and 3DCG in the VFX section put in the form associated with it, and was established in 1994 "space jam" "a mission dealt with VFX of movies such as インポッシブル". However, Hollywood office was closed in 2003, and the production base has become only one company of the London office [2].

The Sine site participated in VFX of the TV program from 1999, and "ROME" [Rome] of 2005 won two Emmy Awards in total in "the Iraqi War (English version) of generation kill soldiers" of 2009 [4]. I participate in all 8 movie series products of "Harry Potter" as VFX and miniature production, photography charge after 2000. I produced the miniature of the building including the ホグワーツ Castle which came up during a drama in the work by the same author [5]. In addition, I produce a factory and the neighboring towns becoming the stage with a miniature in "Charlie and a chocolate factory" [6], and "even V four ヴェンデッタ" produces the miniature of Westminster palace and the U.K. criminal court. I am engaged in the photography of the blast scene of double operation all things in nature [7]. The best Visual Effects Award is won in Academy Award and British Academy Award in 2007 by VFX with "adventure / golden compass of Lila". I started ステレオスコピック 3D conversion in 2010 [8].

The Sine site became the independent company by having been sold to the British investment company by Kodak of the parent company which pushed forward bankruptcy procedure in May, 2012 [9]. I showed first CG animation short story work "Beans" in YouTube in December, 2013 and got the number of the seeing and hearing more than 13 million [10]. I establish an office in Montreal in January, 2014 [11]. Merged it with VFX company image engine of Vancouver in July, 2015, and grew up in the VFX company which set up the more than 600 staff and three bases [12]; [2]. I establish animation production studio Cinesite Animation (English version) in Montreal in February, 2016. Announced the plan to produce nine animation works by 2020 [13]; [14].
