Career

I graduate from Nagoya University department of science (1954) in 1954, and it is entered a school of higher grade to Masters degree course in earth science department graduate school. I am affected by the Assistant Professor Toshio Kimura at the time and major in sedimentation geology. It is entered a school of higher grade in 1956 to the doctoral course. With Professor Isao Matsuzawa, I major in structural geology. March, 1958 course leaving school in midcourse. I become an assistant of the Nagoya University department of science earth science department in April of the year. I acquire the degree of the doctor of science (Nagoya University) in 1964 [1]. The title of the article "folded structure in the upper earth crust of central part Japan paleozoic strata" [2]. I become the professor in assistant professor, 1977 in 1968. I retire from a retirement age in (1995) in 1995 and become a honorary professor. Become a professor at department of Japan University of Social Welfare information sociology in April of the year; 2003 resignation.

Study achievements

Based on sedimentation geology, the structural geology that I learned for the graduate student era, I performed various studies mainly on the sedimentation rocks of the Mino Zone under Gifu. At first I showed that the clue which knew the generation condition at the time of the sandstone sedimentation was provided by statistics handling the grain size distribution of the grain of sand of the Permian sandstone mathematically [3]. In addition, silica in silicified stone considered reaction velocity in the diagenesis which changed from amorphous substance to cristobalite, quartz by the experiments using the high pressure container and announced the article such as analyzing history of heat of 珪質堆積岩 [4]. I wrestled and showed the example in the Mino Zone to a study to know the direction of the flow that the sediment had been carried to by structure at the time of the sedimentation that remained in the base of the sedimentation layer afterwards [5]. In addition, in the process of this investigation, it measured the generation of the stone in the Kamiaso conglomerate, and it attracted attention that the generation of last Cumbria charges was provided [6]. And, based on the latest data until that time, I announced the novel model representing the evolution of the earth of the Japanese Islands [7]. In addition, I listed the new kinds of the radiolarian fossil and contributed to a study of the radiolarian straight layer opening and gathered it in a Jurassic Mino Zone [8]. In addition, I analyzed the principle in detail why you could know the generation by this technique about the Rb-Sr アイソクロン generation law that you used by the measurement in many generations till then [9]. I did 私淑 and have lectured to earth scientist Akiho Miyashiro resident in the United States about a revolution in the history of science that he advocated later [10].
