武夷 (Wu-yi, AOE-530) is a Taiwanese naval replenishment vessel. It was the maximum war vessel which it was the only replenishment vessel, and was constructed in Taiwan until there was not the warship of the same type, and solidness (Panshih, AOE-532) was placed on duty on January 23, 2015.

Summary

"武夷" is the ocean replenishment vessel which aims at ocean supply ability improvement, and was constructed by the part of a navy modernization plan, "the Koka plan" that Taiwan started from 1988. I was constructed in a Keelung shipbuilding depot of Chinese shipbuilding Koji, but receive the technological assistance of the American company on the occasion of a design because there was not the building experience of this kind war vessel.

Because, as for the design, a Henry J Kaiser grade refueling warship of constructed U.S. Navy was referred to from 1984, but the same class was a large size warship more than 40,000t in load displacement and was oversaid for the Taiwan navy; the load displacement of the same class was half said as follows. Therefore placement and the structure of the warship are more largely than a type ship changed. The name of a warship was named "武夷" for mountains name of Fujian.

A mounted with supply supplies and marine supply station sections a bridge deck in the central part in the front part, and the placement of "武夷" becomes an engine part and the helicopter deck in the rear and is greatly different from the type ship.

There are six places of supply stations in total in the central part, and, in front part and rear four places, central two places for the liquid freight are for dry cargo. As for the burden of supply supplies, dry cargo such as 9,300t, the ammunition is considered to be 600t liquid freight such as fuel and the fresh water.

A helicopter deck is established in a stern, but there is not the hangar, and, as for the deployment machine peculiar to a warship, ヴァートレップ with the helicopter is possible although there is not it.

In 兵装, ボフォース 40mm 単装機関砲 two are established in one RIM-92C sea chaparral 4 multi-launching interceptor missile, upper rear structure in the bow.

"武夷" was forced to a large-scale change from a type ship including the structure in the process of the design. In addition, there was the lack of experience on the shipyard side which I constructed, and malfunction outbreak was informed by a slant and the unrest of the hull at the time of the navigation, the engine region it just after the placement on duty (I deny the Taiwanese navy side). "武夷" takes a long-distance voyage duty without a gross mistake after placement on duty many times, and it is really supposed that it was dissolved afterwards even if there was malfunction early. By the placement on duty of this warship, the sustainability in the Taiwanese naval ocean greatly improved.

In addition, I started the building of the solidness grade replenishment vessel (Chinese edition) to become the improvement type in 2012 in the Taiwanese navy and was placed on duty on launching, January 23, 2015 in November, 2013.
