Pedro candy Rico
Pedro candy Rico デ フィゲイレド エ Melo (Pedro Américo de Figueiredo e Melo, from April 29, 1843 to October 7, 1905) is a painter, the author of the Brazilian academic picture, an art teacher.
Life
Candy Rico was born in Paraiba アレイア (Areia). In 1854, I moved to the Rio de Janeiro city and learned from empire Beaux-Arts (Academia Imperial de Belas Artes) with a scholarship there. Furthermore, I became a pupil of Dominick angle, Jean = イポリット franc Dolan (Jean-Hippolyte Flandrin), Antoine Charles オラース Vernet (Antoine Charles Horace Vernet) in Paris over Europe to study. The picture of candy Rico got much praise and acquired a scientific doctorate in Brussels free university (UniversitéLibre de Bruxelles) in 1868.
I have begun to produce a series of masterpieces when I came back to Brazil. It is included in that "it is independence, or is it death?!" that I described the moment when the Pedro first known to widely in the whole land of Brazil declared independence from Portugal. This work is placed in the book of the history of the elementary school for several decades. Candy Rico played an active part as a lecturer and an aesthetics historiographer in both cities of Florence and Rio de Janeiro.
Candy Rico married daughter of Manuel デ アラウホ Porto = Allegret (Manuel de Araújo Porto-alegre), Carlota デ アラウホ Porto = Allegret (from 1844 to 1918). With declaration of the republican form of government, I was chosen as a Diet member in 1890.
In 1905, I died in Florence.
