History
- I appoint it as Ryukyu government way Route 1 in (1953) in 1953. It detoured around Gulf of Shioya in those days to go from Nago to the Kunigami area.
- First Shioya Ohashi (in the current bridge the second generation of 1999 (1999) opening to traffic) is inaugurated in (1963) in 1963. Route 1 (existing National highway No. 58) that detoured around Gulf of Shioya with this is changed to the route by way of Shioya Ohashi with Miyagishima. Port of tsunami - field interval becomes government way Route 9 in old roads (port of field - Shioya is admitted into government way Route 4).
- Ryukyu government way Route 9 becomes prefectural road Route 9 with mainland return of (1972) in 1972.
- Field Ohashi, Minato shunting prefectural road east Oogimi line (prefectural road 80, existing National highway No. 331) of the neighborhood of terminal in the 1980s is inaugurated. Shirahama, 半崎両 tunnel is inaugurated in succession afterwards after the mid-1990s.
