Person
I studied in Hiroshima and Kyoto for four years from 16 years old to 20 years old, and 完山 born in the Kamo-gun, Hiroshima servant of a Buddhist temple village (current Saijochojike, Higashihiroshima-shi) learned medicine and Chinese classics. I devoted myself to medicine following business after having come back to the servant of a Buddhist temple village. I was appointed in the Hiroshima feudal clan for Tenpo era five years by doctor. I opened the private school and gathered disciples from the various parts of Japan. Gakusui Egi who is the scholar of the Bingo Fukuyama feudal clan is one of the disciples, and an epitaph with the crocodile water is ticked away in father of Egi Takatou in a grave of 完山 which is a historic spot of the Hiroshima designation.
Other than medicine, I was familiar with Confucianism and literature. "Crane bower diary" (all 46 volumes) said to have written it for nearly 35 years writes down social conditions at the time scrupulously, and it is a valuable document for native district.
野坂完山之墓
A grave of 完山 was built for 13 anniversary memorial service of 完山 by a disciple. This grave becomes the historic spot of the Hiroshima designation according to the statement above as "野坂完山之墓".
