• Matsunaga-mura since the early modern times forms the local government by the enforcement of - municipality organization alone (1889) on April 1 in 1889.
• - Matsunaga-mura enforces town organization (1900) on March 3 in 1900 and becomes Matsunaga-cho.
• It merges with - Imazu-mura (1953) on April 1 in 1953, and Matsunaga-cho starts some other time.
