With Kukuri (bind), it is the place name in Kani-shi, Gifu.
It is adjacent after a mountain with Tajimi-shi, Toki-shi, and therefore the villages such as ceramists exist, too. When a festival car appears by the spring festival, I show turnout (now once in several years).

History
It is the Mino ware birthplace.
It was one village called Kukuri-mura, but was merged with the Kani-cho before in 1955. The Kani-cho became Kani-shi by the municipal organization enforcement afterwards.
Remarks
There is the place name called Kukurikakishitanyukai (くくりかきしたにゅうかい), too, but I am hardly known and am rarely distinguished. In the first place there are many people who do not know it because a lot of Yamaji is hard to understand a boundary line where is Kukuri in the local people from where.
