ポデンコ kana Rio
ポデンコ kana Rio (British: Podenco Canario) is a site hound dog species native to the Spanish Canary Islands. May be called merely canary; another name Kanari Ann hound (British: Canarian Hound), Kanari Anne Gray hound (British: Canarian Greyhound), Kanari Ann Warren hound (British: Canarian Warren Hound).

History
It is thought that it is one of the descendants of Egyptian ancient dog species, チズム brought into the Canary Islands in about B.C. 5000. In a dog species brought up in environment isolated from other areas, I am said to be it when one of the things that チズム is than other children dog species nearer.
It was the multipurpose site hound which hunted the native animals such as weasels formerly, but came to be used after there have been too many hares brought in in the island in the 16th century to hunt it mainly.
After it was enrolled in FCI as an authorized dog species in a rare dog species from the cost, head count did not change dramatically either. In late years management of the lineage came to be carried out more strictly, and it was made mandatory for individual management in the island that I put serial number by the tattoo which was harmless to an ear. It is a very rare dog species to be rarely seen any place other than the Canary Islands now.
Characteristic
It is the dog which had a firm build in slim. For a site hound dog species, マズル, a neck, a foot, the tail are long. An ear is a long candle ear, and a tail is the saber-shaped sauce tail which is long by the decline without the aigret. The hair color that a coat was a smooth coat, and thing or that of orange system was in the hair color from red umber (red amber). The eyes are small, and or, as for the eye color, brown (black) is amber. At 55-64cm male as for higher body, female 53-60cm, the weight is a big dog of 20-25 kg for the sex. With faithful character to promise the loyalty only to one master, I have mind of the self-sacrifice. Any penance, difficult matter has both the strength of the will that I am going to get over if for the master. However, I am not so friendly and open the heart only to the master to the last. I may begin a quarrel with the dog of the same sex. There are very many momenta and avoids that I live only in the room.
