Development process
JS29 was going to be equipped with new Alfa Romeo 415T four-cylinder engine at first. It was equipped with alpha Romeo 890T V-8 in Brazil and made my debut and was to really fight in it until I could prepare for 415T. In addition, I came to appoint ピエルカルロ ギンザーニ by sponsorship, but Rene Arnoux compares it with the used engine on the test before the season, and it is said that I spoke, "it is the worst engine, and there is not running Wake as for this.". Parent company Fiat of alpha Romeo assumed this an excuse to quit a project. It was said that I led you by the hand because I did not want alpha Romeo to become a rival of Ferrari by the news at the time in Fiat.
I would lose an engine just before the start in a season, and the team came to have to secure an engine with the competitiveness. With the supply of the mega Tron direct 4 turbo engine, the machine equipped with mega Tron was finally named JS29B. ギンザーニ of Arnoux and the expert Italian driver drove the machine. JS29B was updated in for the last time-shaped JS29C after Detroit.
Arnoux became the sixth place with the Belgian grand prix in JS29B in a season in 1987 and acquired 1 point. JS29C was a machine with the last turbo which リジェ produced.
JS31 which carried Judd CV in place of JS29C was spent in 1988.
