Summary

I rearranged a product made in wartime flatcar in prewar days such as the timeworn Tiki 1500 form, Tiki 3000 form, Tiki 4000 form, and the Tiki 7000 form who was a perfection new product car to plan the modernization of the flatcar was produced in (1975) in 1975, but 150 were made in the single year, and, in Japanese National Railways at the time, [1], the Tiki 7000 form were over from the problem of the cost side at the time of the financial difficulty, and the time when I appeared bought and others for full-scale substitution in a solstice.

On the other hand, コキ 5500 form became redundant in those days. Remodeling corresponding to the 5t (12ft) container loading was performed, but two kinds of コキ 5500 form which was produced in one kind of 5t (10ft) container five product when two kinds of 5t (12ft) containers were mass-produced with the コキ 50000 form which came up in (1971) in 1971 made it a surplus because loading efficiency was inferior without loading it only with four concerning the body head and was inferior in the speed side [2]. Because aging is light, and the コキ 5500 form which became redundant has a long body head, I will remodel it into the flatcar. I hung it in (1981) in 1981 from (1977) in 1977, and 422 (Tiki 6000 - Tiki 6421) remodeled it in Japanese National Railways factory and were produced in this way that it was Tiki 6000 form to have appeared and rearranged a timeworn flatcar.

Structure

It is a general-purpose flatcar with a form similar to Tiki 7000 form. A vehicle equipped with a TR63F form cart was chosen in コキ 5500 form on the occasion of remodeling. I misappropriate a cart and a connector and a side beam from コキ 5500 form [3] and cut down a side beam and produce the bodies which followed Tiki 7000 form newly. The floor board is made of wood. Because the brake system was a hand brakes type with the コキ 5500 form, I was changed to the side brakes type.

The change, present situation of the use

Tiki 6000 form employed as a reserve car of the freight car for heavy goods (Tiki 6141)

These procedures rearranged a flatcar made in prewar days, the wartime and let the modernization of the flatcar make progress and were used as a general-purpose flatcar with Tiki 7000 form in whole country each place, but when it was for Japanese National Railways last years, the freight train using the flatcar was gradually rearranged for trucking, and this car was not an exception, and it was a surplus junk car, and about half was succeeded to on the occasion of Japanese National Railways division and privatization in April (1987) in 1987 by the JR companies.

31 cars [the source required] are registered at 30 cars, Japan Freight Railway Co. (JR freight) (2012) in four cars, Kyushu Railway Co. (Kyushu Railway Company) in 51 cars, Shikoku Railway Co. (Shikoku Railway Company) in 56 cars, West Japan Railway Co. (West Japan Railway) in 11 cars, East Japan Railway Co. (JR East) in Hokkaido Railway Co. (Hokkaido Railway) as of April in 2012.

The vehicle belonging to the passenger rail company is used for rail transportation for business use. There was the vehicle used for the reserve cars of the freight car for heavy goods once.

Remodeling car

Billet (billet) transportation remodeling car (the 6900th level)
I hung it for billet (billet) transportation in (1982) in 1982 from (1981) in 1981, and 22 cars of Tiki 6000 - Tiki 6021 were remodeled in Japanese National Railways Wakamatsu Sharyo center to rearrange Tiki 2800 form used for billet (billet) transportation, Tiki 2900 form. As for the remodeling car, it is done 改番 by the 6900th level (existing number +900).
Tanker piggyback transportation examination remodeling car
(1987), two cars of Tiki 6358. Tiki 6316 were remodeled in JR freight Nagoya factory and Nippon Sharyo, Ltd. in 1987 to perform a tanker piggyback transportation examination.
