Geography

It is located in the eastern part of Minuma-ku, Saitama-shi. I am the part of the inlet of ex-Minuma. I receive Futtono in a new bank and Otani, the north in Hasunuma, the south in Higashimiyashita, the west in the east. Minuma substitute water east rim grazes the east end, and the Kataya River flows through the west end. I hit it around the Nanasato Station entrance intersection where Saitama prefectural road 2 Saitama Kasukabe Line and Saitama prefectural road 65 Saitama Satte Line intersect.

There are a housing complex and a hypermarket, a mall and is relatively busy.

One place, an enclave exist along the Saitama prefectural road 2 Saitama Kasukabe Line in two places, the Tobu Noda Line (Tobu Urban park line) Nanasato Station north.

Origin of the place name

Because it was a door front village of eagle Myojin Corporation of Futtono-mura.

History

• It was Adachi county door front village as of the late Tokugawa period. Tomoyuki of direct feudatory of a shogun Fushimi.
• It becomes the jurisdiction of - 武蔵知県事, Masanori Yamada (忍藩士) (1868) on June 19 in 1868.
