Fujima Hayashi

A poet, a literary critic, the doctor that Fujima Hayashi (はやしふじま, from July 15, 1914 to September 4, 2001) is from Tokyo prefecture.

Origin, person

I am born in Tokyo prefecture Omagari and grow in Nagasaki that is the home town of parents. 渡辺庫輔 and the old boy who were a disciple of Ryunosuke Akutagawa in Nagasaki. I get to know Osamu Dazai during Keio University department of literature attendance at school in Sato's house in gate personality, about the summer of 1935 of Haruo Sato. For 1,939 years, I publish (private press edition) with preface of Haruo Sato on the first book of verse "birthday" (Shuhei Hayashi name). However, once gave up literature to see the way of the administration office of Kyushu district which repeated drug poisoning and an attempted suicide of life that was intense.

I quit Keio University and graduate from Nippon Medical School and become the doctor. In 1943, I know it with Yukio Mishima of the literary youth era and still appreciate talent of anonymous Mishima in those days. Mishima states, "it is sure that there was me around 日本浪曼派, and two threads tied me to 浪曼派 in those days, and the thread of the one is teacher of the learning House, Mr. Fumio Shimizu, and the thread of the one was already Mr. Fujima Hayashi of the poet" later in reminiscences "my journey era" (Kodansha, 1964).

I run in postwar period from prewar days and play an active part as a central figure of the coteries magazine such as "nature" "まほろば" "mandala" "Kuan Yew" "psyche" "new reality". I open a pediatrician after World War II. I am in charge of a coterie review in "文學界" from July, 1958 (until 1980). By this achievement, I received the 27th Kan Kikuchi Prize with three Shinji Komada in 1979.

In 1995, "the complete series of Fujima Hayashi criticism literature" were published from 勉誠社.
