Ernest Walton
Ernest Walton (Ernest Thomas Sinton Walton, from October 6, 1903 to June 25, 1995) is a physicist of the Irishmen. I won Nobel Prize in Physics by John Koch storehouse and the achievement in the study of the atomic nucleus conversion by the acceleration charged particle in 1951. I let the proton which accelerated by direct current high voltage in 1932 collide with an atomic nucleus of lithium and succeeded in breaking an atomic nucleus.

I was born in Dan Garban Ltd. in southeastern Ireland. I graduated from a Methodist college of Belfast and graduated from a trinity college of Cambridge University in 1927. I studied it with Ernest Rutherford in Cavendish Institute until the next 1,934 years. I let cook storehouse and the proton which accelerated collide with the atomic nucleus of light elements such as lithium in 1932 and succeeded in converting it to an atomic nucleus of helium. It is the first artificial nuclear reaction. I came back to the trinity college of the Dublin University in 1934 and was assigned to Erasmus Smith professorship in 1946.
