A boundary tunnel (boundary tunnel) is a tunnel of Chugoku Expressway in the boundary of Akiota-cho, Yamagata-gun, Hiroshima and Hatsukaichi-shi. Boundary tunnel destruction by fire accident
A destruction by fire accident occurred in a boundary tunnel in (1988) in 1988, and it was a catastrophe that 11 vehicles were completely demolished and started five dead people, injured person five. When Chugoku Expressway was just inaugurated, I used it together in some sections of the Hiroshima north JCT - Shikano IC in 2 provisional traffic lanes. Because it was as for boundary tunnel in itself in two-way traffic section in the point that passed through the tunnel in the case of an up line in particular although I was able to pass it in 4 traffic lanes from an early stage of stage, a prospect was bad at all.
