Summary
ベストヴァトン is in local government gremz Naas = グラプニンフスフレップル (Grímsnes- og Grafningshreppur) of the southwest south Iceland district of the Icelandic island. The area is 6.8 km², and an island called ランバギ (Lambhagi) is in the northern part of the lake. クヴィータゥ river (Hvítá) flows in form along the south side and flows out of the west of the lake in クヴィータゥ through Hestlækur river (headrace). The depth of the water is up to 61.5m. The east side is a hilly area; with the Mt. ヘストフィヤットル (Hestfjall, 317m) [2]. It is ソゥルヘイマル (Sólheimar) which the nearest village is in the northeast of the lake, and is active as "eco-Village Ecovillage".
