トゥルィ [^{note 1}] (Belarusian word :Тур) is a person described in a chronicle as a ruler of トゥーロフ (existing Belarus toe bamboo pipe-stem) of the end of tenth century.

Summary

With the description of the purpose that "ログヴォロド (ru) where came over to across the sea has power in Pollock, and トゥルィ had power in トゥーロフ, and to depend on a name of トゥルィ as for the name of トゥーロフ." in the clause of 980 years of "the genesis chronicle" [¹]. In addition, in "ウスチュグ chronicle complete works" (ru)^{[ note 2]} edited in the 16th century, トゥルィ is named brothers of ログヴォロド. The chronicle except this does not have the description about トゥルィ.

Vasily タチーシチェフ (ru), Vasily クリュチェフスキー, the researcher of Vladimir ザヴィトネヴィチ (ru) and others consider トゥルィ to be an actual person as grounds in the name of トゥルィ being described in a chronicle along with ログヴォロド which is an actual person. On the other hand, the researchers such as Aleksei シャフマトフ (ru), Mitra fan doe null = ザポリスキ (be) consider the description of the chronicle to convey the legend about the origin of the name of トゥーロフ, and they consider トゥルィ to be a legendary person.

The name of public トゥルィ of this native is connected with the place name of the Slav group of a language family to assume "Тур" the root of a word and considers Peter ルィセンカ (be) that the name of city, トゥーロフ was named with the name of the actual person [²].

There is not yet the decisive statement whether トゥルィ is an actual person. However, if トゥルィ is an actual person, with first ログヴォロド told to be public of Pollock, it is said that it is public and is the immediate early person who built the root of the Belarus nation.
