Origin

"I did two Ogawara good luck (come), and there was it in "a capital Gasho temple hermitage book" of (1469) with a temple" (でら) in the civilization first year, and there was the temple which was transcribed with "a bank temple" in the Middle Ages by a document. I was said to be connected with Mr. honorable man of denizen line (I come and do it and do it) according to "the name of a street of Kobe", and I read "the bank ground" with "キシジ", and the letter of "the bank place" was affected [3].

Otagawa of the old character name was the thin clear stream which there was large Tamura merged with the blacksmith's village later and drifted to there in the southwest of Shinohara-mura and was the water which was good for a swordsmith [4]. I dealt with the farmer tool without being able to live only with a sword in the Edo era when the name of the village called the blacksmith's should be because field smithing lived [4]. In the blacksmith's village, a sweet potato is recommended as famine measures for the first time in existing Kobe city limits in an Imperial demesne by the Shogunate, and it is cultivated land, and a sweet potato village and the record that I wrote remain [4], but do it when there is a divergent view that it was, and potato = sweet potato cannot swallow this whole in "a name of a street of Nada-ku" from "a founder" (いもじ) of Kaji [4].
