Association of Japanese dramatist

Association of general corporate judicial person Japan dramatist (いっぱんしゃだんほうじんにほんげきさっかきょうかい) is the group for the people who "think oneself to be a dramatist" regardless of professional flax. There is no enrollment qualification. I recognize oneself as a dramatist and can join it if I pay enrollment fee and annual convention costs by a predetermined procedure. The administration is carried out by dramatists, too, and the range of the activity diverges into many branches. The English name is Japan Playwrights Association (abbreviated designation, JPA).

  • Some raises the association establishment among dramatist volunteers.
• March, 1993
  • A participation appeal sentence is started by an appeal person, and questionary survey is performed by theatricalists (regardless of professional flax, age) of the whole country.

  • Establishment preparations society is held in young man seat Theater. The association establishment is decided, and the preparations society shifts to an establishment general meeting.

Purpose (association of dramatist articles of association)

• Of the dramatist contribute to the spread, development of the drama literature in our country by being artistic, and protecting occupational rights and interests.
• I plan the friendship of libretto aspect of a house each other and promote interchange and information exchange.
• Through an overseas dramatist, the interchange with the theatricalist, I contribute to development of the theatrical art of the Pan-くわが country.

Main activity contents

• For from September 29, 1994 to October 2, I hold the first Japan dramatist meeting (Kitakyushu-shi)
• On April 5, 1995, I hold the symposium over presentation charges in a Tokyo, Kii country shop hall (the cosponsorship with the corporate judicial person Japan theatrical company meeting)
• For from 11 to 14 on July in 1996 the second Japan dramatist meeting (Morioka, Iwate)
• ..., drama magazine "times (quarterly) of lines" are published in October, 1996 by Shogakukan
• In April, 1998, I exchange a confirmation on the occasion of collecting, the broadcast of the stage work with NHK
• I publish ..., "modern Japanese libretto" (drama English translation publication) in 1999 (research business of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, arts plan)
• For from 14 to 17 on January in 1999 the third Japan dramatist meeting (Sapporo-shi)
• In January, 2000, I announce the general model contract on corporate judicial person Japan theatrical company meeting and an agreement
• I hold ..., a drama seminar in April, 2001 (the cosponsorship with the Setagaya public theater)
• For from 18 to 21 on March in 2005, I hold the fourth Japan dramatist meeting (Kumamoto)
• For from 1 to 4 on September in 2005 the fifth Japan dramatist meeting (Nagakute, Aichi)
• For from 12 to 15 on June in 2014 the sixth Japan dramatist meeting (Toyooka-shi, Hyogo)

New face drama prize

• I found it from 1995. The last selection is shown. The last candidate product is published as a publication.
• The candidate who lost has more people who broke through after nomination than a prize winner afterwards. Norihiko Tsukuda (winning dramatist, Kishida drama prize), Sumio Omori (scriptwriter, movie director), Rokuro Inui (writer), a Nakazawa day greens child (writer).
