Amazon Light
Amazon Light (Amazon light) is user interface of alternative Amazon.com built on API of Amazon Web Services. Alane Taylor of former programmer of the Amazon developed the site during Amazon holding the post. The site was supported financially through an affiliate link of the Amazon [1].
The website aimed at access and use to the Amazon by a simple and more effective method. I searched a book, music, DVD of the Amazon, the database of the videotape or the user read it and was able to add an item to a list. I was added to the shopping cart of the user afterwards and was able to purchase the list.
Originally the Amazon light was a layout similar to the main page of the Google search engine [2]. I stated that the lawyer of Google opened a stop notice book to the Amazon right field in July, 2002 [3].
Amazon light 4.0 got "a prize for technical results" in Web Award of south by Southwest of 2005 [4].
In July, 2009, alane Taylor announced, "the Amazon light (all 4 versions) is closed" with blog of oneself [5].
