Werner シュラガー (Werner Schlager, September 28, 1972 -) is a table tennis player of Austria. The 47th world table tennis championships Paris meeting men's singles champion [1].

Brief career history
I am from Austrian Wiener ノイシュタット. I begin table tennis with 5 years old under the influence of father. When I was young, I played the soccer with table tennis, but came to devote myself to table tennis from early teens. After having become junior champion in Austria, I enter the Austrian representative team at the age of 18 years old. I belonged to the military to secure exercise environment in the full-time and I participated in the international meetings such as ITTF pro tours with it positively and raised ability. I was globally nameless, but am the late-blooming player who distinguishes itself from the middle stage in twenties, and accomplished growth to the world top.
I broke Seiko Iseki, Damiens エロワ, ゾラン プリモラッツ and placed the third place in the world championship Eindhoven meeting men's singles of 1999 and acquired a medal for an Austrian player after an interval of 51 [1]. I won the championship at world championship Paris meeting men's singles of 2003 [1], and I brought the title that it was 65 years since then (it is 66 years since then for men's singles) and was chosen as a top flight athlete in the Austrian year in the year, and I was made to a commemorative stamp by Austria.
