Summary

I was unified in April, 2010 to the Okazaki City abundant elementary school. The number of whole school children at the time of the unification was six people [²].

The school building was maintained after closing a school and was reborn in "Okazaki-shi firefly school" in April, 2012. The environmental part environment Maintenance Section of the city manages the school; in a building with the secretariat of the Torikawa firefly preservation society [³].

I leave the city area of Okazaki-shi distantly, and around school is surrounded by a mountain and the forests. On March 31, 2016, "village spring group of Torikawa-cho of the Torikawa とっかわ firefly" was chosen as the first place of the "famous clear water section which was splendid in the famous clear water 100 selections selection general election that Ministry of the Environment hosted as an unexplored region place" [⁴]; [⁵].
