The T1 emphasis image (T1 today butterfly image British: T1 weighted image, T1WI) is a kind of the images provided by the spin echo method used by a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (the SE method).
TR (distance to give repetition time, a radio wave pulse), TE (time before detecting echo time, a radio wave pulse) are related with signal strength by the spin echo method, and a difference of T1 of each organization is reflected by an image if TR is shorter than a T1 level of the organization. Furthermore, the image that there is little influence of T2 of each organization is provided if TE is very shorter than a T2 level. A difference of T1 of each organization is strong, and, on the condition that TR, TE have a short together, an appearing image is provided in this way and calls this with T1 emphasis image.
