Kind of the freshwater fish that Pelecus cultratus belongs to a dace subfamily. Other names include sichel, ziege, sabre carp, sabrefish, too. I inhabit west Asia, the river in Central Asia from Eastern Europe. The population is stable, and the IUCN assumes the maintenance situation slight concern [¹].

Form

Reach 25-40cm; around .2 kg of up to 60cm [³]. It is the appearance that made a herring large size. Most of the backs are straight lines, but the abdomen stretches downward and creates an arc. The rostrum turns to the top, and the lower jaw is slanted to it, too. The measuring line runs in waviness, the considerable lower part of the side of the body. The pectoral is long and is sharp. Distribution

Habits
