Summary

In ティーグル, development was begun in about 1999 based on a demand of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the first prototype developed in 2000 was shown in Abu Dhabi international defense exhibition "IDEX 2001 "in 2001 as GAZ-2975 [¹]; [²]. GAZ-2975 was tested in UAE and gained good results, but the mass production contract was not concluded afterwards after all [¹]. GAZ improved GAZ-2975, and production [³] [¹], GAZ-2330 put the results that the test by Russian Federales was enough for by prototype as GAZ-2330 in 2002 through 2003, and 96 from 2004 through 2005 first mass production cars were made afterwards. Russian Federales started deployment of GAZ-2330 at the end of 2006 [⁴], and a full-scale mass production began in 2007 [⁴].

The body size of ティーグル is approximately equal to Kahn Vee used in U.S. forces and has loading capacity of approximately 1.5 tons [³]. Plural bodice tiles depending on a use are prepared and are available for various strategies. Kahn Vee "by this car for" Russia and the example to express are seen from such a thing.

The engine is equipped with turbo diesel made of Cummins of the United States of America or GAZ-562 turbo diesel made in the company. There is the deployment example of the YaMZ-534 diesel engine with the improved model, too.
