With the Fukui area train service department (ふくいちいきてつどうぶ), it is one of the local train service departments of West Japan Railway Co. (West Japan Railway) in the Fukui Station yard of Fukui-shi, Fukui.

Summary
West Japan Railway introduced railroad region system mainly for a branch line ward from June 1, 1990 to be able to do the activation of the local line and effective railroad administration, but I introduce railroad region system into the main line pro-area from October 1, 1995, and the duties that accepted a characteristic local as area railroad region are performed.
Kanazawa branch office has jurisdiction and performs railroad administration of North Fukui mainly.

I had jurisdiction over the Minami-Imajo Station - Omi-Shiotsu Station room (in Omi-Shiotsu Station the direct control of the Kyoto branch office) of Hokuriku Main Line before, but the applicable section was transferred on June 1, 2010 by the Tsuruga area train service department.

History
Japanese National Railways Era
- 1884(Meiji17 years): The storage of Tsuruga engine establishment [3].
- It is September 1 (1936) for 1,936 years: I am renamed to the Tsuruga engine department.
- It is October 1 (1957) for 1,957 years: Tsuruga second engine department starts at the time of Hokuriku Main Line electrification as a vehicle base for the electric locomotive. The Tsuruga engine department is renamed to Tsuruga first engine department.
- It is February (1984) for 1,984 years: The vehicle placement of the Tsuruga second engine department disappears.
- It is March 14 (1985) for 1,985 years: I unify Tsuruga first engine department and Tsuruga second engine departments and am renamed to Tsuruga engine department [4].
- It is March 3 (1986) for 1,986 years: Kanazawa driving place Tsuruga police boxes are unified by the Tsuruga engine department [5].

Minami-Imajo Station - Omi-Shiotsu Station interval (I look in the both ends Station yard) of Hokuriku Main Line is transferred by the Tsuruga area train service department.
