Warship form

The figure which showed armament, the armor placement of this warship of 1902.

The hull shape is the tongue bulldog home type hull which the French navy introduced from a capital ship to a light war vessel mainly in those days. I drew structure on from the draft part to the full using a complicated curve, and this was adopted on Czarist Russia Navy and the German navy, the former dreadnaught and a cruiser of U.S. Navy by the hull method that could reduce hull weight in the other countries. A bow, the stern of the draft lower part projects as a surface characteristic remarkably and the characteristic form that said that a part of the draft region armor projects than ship's side deck is. Therefore, the hull is drawn to the full as I go on the deck, and the deck area becomes small from the draft bottom. The areas that only the amount puts armor on if the hull shortens for "a whole defense method" to put armor on in front and behind the hull by a large lighting field being obtained and the armor placement method at the time thoroughly without a candlepower of 備砲 being narrowed with the hull decrease, and this is technique adopted for a purpose to be able to lightweight the hull.

The hull shape of this warship is the platform type hull to slant toward gently from the high bow of the freeboard to a low stern as well as 前級. A simple crus-type mast stands on the bow deck from the bridge deck that 24cm 単装主塔 one incorporated headquarters in the lower part from the bow where a surface of the water part projected into. Three chimneys stand in the rear of the front part mast, but I line up a few apart between the second chimney and the third chimney for can room separation placement of the French navy tradition, and one box-shaped funnel stands just before the third chimney. I came, and, in around the chimney, it was a place 艦載艇置, and boat davit of one set of two of them was applied by eight sets of four sets of single board in total. One engine and a 24cm main gun turret are one engine the rear mast which is plain on a rear deck backward. A secondary gun placed eight engines in total in the ship's side part of the hull by four single board in 単装砲架 with the manta.

Warship career

This warship of the Polish navy "bow Thich" times

I start work at a la Seine shipyard in September, 1894 and am placed on duty in launching, 1899 in June, 1896. It is removed from a register in 1927 and sells it to the Polish navy and changes my name to "the Krull ヴワディスワフ fourth" (ORP Król Władysław IV). I deploy it to the navy after changing name with "bow Thich" (ORP Bałtyk) formally again on April 1, 1930. I receive bombing from a German air-force plane on September 1, 1939. I was requisitioned after repair by the German military and was used as a warehouse warship and I dismantled it in 1942 and was disposed.
