The Arika prefecture (Spanish: Provincia de Arica) is one of two prefectures in Arika イ パリナコータ state (XV) at the north end of Chile. The prefecture contacts with the Pacific to パリナコータ prefecture, the west to the east thallaspotted cavy state Tamar gal prefecture to the south タクナ prefecture of Peru to the north. The prefecture metropolis is Arika of the port town.

History
On October 8, 2007, 20.175 itemized regulations (effective on March 23, 2007) were carried out. As for this, it was signed by President Michel バチェレ of the Arika city. Ceremony was held in this morning and was accepted as a serious event historically.

It is a secondary jurisdiction, and Arika who is a prefecture is comprised of two コムーナ (Spanish: comunas) of northern Arika and southern Camaroness. Arika of the coast city functions as the prefecture capital. The President appoints the prefectural governor. JoséDurana Semir was appointed by Sebastian ピニェラ of the President [1].
