The district local government (South Africa)

The district local government (ちくじちたい, English: District municipality) is one for the administrative section of the Republic of South Africa.

Summary

Based on a constitutional amendment of 1998, it started by the reorganization of the local government carried out from 2000 through 2001.

I am appointed, and the district local government has authority to contain the local government which is the basic local government in local government category C. In addition, I perform the local management beyond the jurisdiction of the local government including a national park and the animal sanctuary.

Because the district local government comes under the county in Japan, I am called by the name of "the county".
