Geography

It is located in the center of Komatsushima-shi. It is located in the southeastern city area, and the east faces small Matsushima-Wan from the north, and, in the west, the northwest touches it with JR Mugi Line in Yokosucho across a municipal road in Tano-cho as a boundary.

The east cruises in the center, and a lawn river flows into small Matsushima-Wan, and, in the river mouth, it is in gold beach Port. Gold beach Nitta village

The gold beach Nitta village is the name of a village of Katsuura-gun from the Edo era to 1889. I called myself gold beach Nitta for Edo period. here is establishment by newly reclaiming a rice field after the Genroku era year in paddy field wall state ahead of cause 小松島浦, Tano-mura, lawn village, Higaino-mura out of the bank (beach at ebb tide).
