Geography
It is located in the northeastern part of Chiyoda-ku and belongs to the Kanda area. A ward boundary to receive is in Nihonbashihongokucho, Chuo-ku and ward Yaesu. I receive Kajicho in Iwamotocho, the western part in Kandanishifukudacho, the eastern part in the northern part of town area. I occupy the corner of commercial areas equal to the Kanda Station east exit, and an office building and stores are seen a lot.
History
I was faced with the north side of 竜閑川 in the Edo era, and Kanda Sagara Kimachi storehouse place, Japanese Hashimoto silver town-block office mansion, 2, Kandakonnyacho alley storehouse places lined up from the west and commonly were called the three official storehouses (storehouse) ground. A coastal place was filled up (1857) for Ansei four years, and Imagawa Bridge reclaimed land was established. There is not the railroad station in town area, but Sobu Express Line, Shin-Nihombashi Station is the eastern area in Kanda Station, the southern part area in the western area, and Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, Kodemmacho Station is available each.
